The Aspect Merino Wool Balaclava offers lighter weight protection for your head, face and neck from sun and wind in the mountains. We chose our 180GSM (m)Force Merino wool fabric for comfort under your helmet plus protection from the elements. The pattern is cut to work well under a helmet or a knit hat. The fixed hinged construction makes it comfortable when face protection isn't needed but keeps it up when you need that protection.
The ultra fine Merino wool is soft against your skin and offers great sun protection. It naturally wicks moisture away from your skin to prevent clamminess, and it naturally resists odor. Unlike other polyester or synthetic blend balaclavas, ours has no chemicals added for performance. For a product you breathe through, that's key.
